2009 Wedding Package Information

SIMPLE ELEGANCE SATURDAY $5000, SUNDAY – FRIDAY $4000

  • Wedding consultation and coordination: rehearsal & ceremony direction, reception coordination, development of timeline, vendor referral & selection, assistance with decoration of ceremony & reception sites, and a Bravo! Wedding Planner/Organizer book.
  • One (1) hour rehearsal time in the chapel or outdoor ceremony site (rehearsals scheduled on Thursdays or wedding day).
  • Eight (8) hours event time on wedding day, choose between 9am & 10pm. Additional hours may be purchased for $250/hour, up to 11pm.
  • Use of dressing quarters, chapel (or outdoor site) & surrounding gardens, reception lodge and outdoor reception area (approx. 7 acres).
  • Tables & chairs for reception area for up to 200 guests, arranged and set up by client or caterer.
  • Catering kitchen with refrigeration, re-heating ovens, commercial coffee maker, and spacious work area.
  • DJ/band facilities including outdoor 20x20 raised stage and electrical hook-up.
  • Client will contract with professional caterer of choice for: food, beverages, linens, place settings, glassware & serving ware, set up, servers, bartenders, clean up & breakdown for reception. Client or caterer provides beer, wine and/or champagne. No hard alcohol permitted. Selection of a caterer from our recommended list entitles client to a reduction in wedding package price.   • Tableware: 12 pieces per person including coffee mug, punch cup, gold rimmed dinner plate, dinner fork, knife, spoon, dessert fork, dessert plate, stemware (wine & champagne), glassware (beer and water).
  • Bar set up: antique bar for alcohol service equipped with 2 taps, and OLCC certified alcohol servers.
    (Client or caterer provides beer, wine and/or champagne. No hard alcohol permitted.)

  • 6 cozy cottages with lodging for up to 40 guests, based on maximum bed occupancy.
  • Tent camping for up to 20 guests, and 2 RV pads with hookups.
  • Use of bridal quarters, chapel (or outdoor site) & surrounding gardens, reception lodge and outdoor reception area.
  • Extended access to chapel, reception area & bridal quarters for rehearsal, decoration preparation & clean up between 9am and 11pm.
  • Wedding party & photographer access to private east side (lake, pond, dock, canoe, creeks and bridges) for outdoor photographs.
  • Tables & chairs for reception area for up to 200 guests, arranged and set up by client or caterer.

Full Service Wedding Consultation and coordination, provided by an experienced Wedding Coordinator: monthly meetings (either on site or in Portland area), month by month planning checklist, budget establishment, guest list management, rehearsal and ceremony direction, reception coordination, assistance in set up/tear down of reception and ceremony sites, development of timeline, and assistance in vendor selection.

Terms

Reserve your wedding date as soon as possible to avoid scheduling conflicts. At your request, we will provide a two-week “courtesy hold” for your chosen wedding date. During this hold period, we will notify you & give you first right of refusal should another client become interested in that date. When you have made your decision, a signed contract & a deposit of $500 ($1000 for Retreat Packages) will reserve your date. The deposit is refundable after your event, providing that there is no excessive clean up, damage or overtime. All payments are nonrefundable upon cancellation of your event. You may select any professional caterer. Selection of a caterer from our preferred list entitles client to a reduction in wedding package price (see above). Self-catering is not permitted. Because Camp Colton is an environmentally friendly venue, we do not permit the use of disposable tableware at receptions; all tableware can be provided by your contracted caterer, or by Camp Colton. Caterers are responsible for all reception set up, break down and service, regardless of where rental items are procured. Additional time may be added at $250 per hour. In any case, all events must be scheduled to end by 11pm; alcohol service and music are discontinued one hour prior to the end of your event (no later than 10pm). 50% of fees are due 6 months prior to your event; the remaining 50% due 30 days prior to your event, along with and a certificate of insurance for $1,000,000 single event coverage. These event policies are available separately, but can sometimes be acquired as a rider or umbrella on your homeowner's policy.
