Join us for our second annual Bigleaf Maple Dinner Party!
We are partnering with our non-profit residency, the Oregon Maple Project, and Chef Aron Warren to bring you an artisanal five course meal inspired by and using the Bigleaf Maple Syrup made onsite at Camp Colton.
We will start the evening with a nature walk to the Sugar Shack - where the magic happens - for a Maple Syrup tasting and walkthrough of the sugaring process by OMP’s Executive Director, Eliza Nelson.
After the tastings, we will make our way to the creekside bar for a cocktail hour, following a five-course meal in the Gathering Hall.
We look forward to sharing this special evening with you!

We are honored to be supporting community sugaring with this dinner! Oregon Maple Project’s mission is to inspire experiential learning, community partnership, and connection to nature through local production of Bigleaf Maple syrup.
‘At the Oregon Maple Project we make syrup in order to connect with one another and with the natural world. We find magic in the process.
‘Sugaring is rich in science, math, mythology, poetry, history, and community, and we are always learning while making. We relish working hard outdoors together, witnessing the first surge of spring, and creating a pure product from the land with our hands. Sugaring helps us remember the essential: the Earth abounds with gifts that nourish us in all ways. Let us respond with gratitude and respect. ‘ -Oregon Maple Project
OMP also offers workshops and volunteer opportunities onsite at the Sugar Shack.
