10-12 months out

• Set a budget

• Draft guest list and choose wedding party

• Plan a wedding day vibe with your partner

• Explore our preferred vendors

6-8 months out

• Book your photographer and videographer

• Take engagement photos

• Order Wedding dress and wedding attire

• Set up a wedding registry

• Meet with caterers

• Hire an officiant

• Purchase Invitations

6 months out

• Nonrefundable 50% of Facility Use Fee due to Camp Colton

• Finalize guest list and obtain addresses

• Order bridesmaids’ dresses

• Reserve rental items

• Hire florist

• Arrange day-of transportation

• Plan your honeymoon

• Send out save-the-date notifications

4 months out

• Tasting and ordering cake

• Rehearsal dinner booked

• Hire hair and make-up artist(s)

• Choose music for ceremony processional & recessional, first dance and mother & father dances

• Order Groom’s attire

• Wedding night accommodations

• Send bridal shower and bachelorette invites

90 days out

• Certificate of Insurance is due to Camp Colton

• Napkin color choice is due to Camp Colton (included in Classic Elegance and Weekend Wedding packages only)

• Schedule a site visit with all vendors

• Finalize menu with caterer

• Order and print menu cards and event signs

• Finalize floral design

• Purchase wedding rings

• Create a wedding day timeline

• Ceremony programs

• Order wedding favors

• Meet with officiant, personalize ceremony details

60 days out

• Send invitations

• Meet with photographer, DJ, band and other vendors to finalize and confirm plans

30 days out

• Remaining nonrefundable 50% Fee due to Camp Colton

• Layout due to Camp Colton

• Client Event Summary Form due to Camp Colton

• Marriage license

• Final fitting for wedding attire

• Buy reception/getaway clothing and shoes

• Rehearsal, rehearsal dinner invitations

• Buy alcohol

• Send timeline to all vendors

• Purchased gifts for wedding party

• Write wedding vows

• Review RSVPs call non-RSVPs

• Wedding party planning - rules and responsibilities

• Final headcount to vendors

7 days out

• Touch base with all vendors and wedding party

• Delegate any last-minute tasks

• Pack for the honeymoon

• Confirm any last-minute add-ons or adjustments

24-72 hours out

• Pick up tuxedo(s)

• Pick up keg/wine/alcohol

• Pick up last-minute rentals

• Pick up decor

• Pick up cake
